    I carn't comment on the actual unit but it's availble cheaper (about £200) but I can't remember where from.

    Still trying to decide if to get one - would like some opinions...

    I tape a lot on sky+ and work away quite a lot - seriously thinking of one to dump all the sky stuff onto so I can watch when holed up in hotel rooms

    An archos av4?0 model is also under consideration

    Why not upgrade your sky+ hard drive? I took advantage of the 250gb western digital hard drive that Aldi were selling two weeks ago and popped it into my sky+ box. It works a treat and the firmware has been updated 'cos sky have brought out a bigger drive, the only problem is I find myself recording rubbish and then sitting and watching it!!!!!!

    BUt i cannot take the programs away to watch in a hotel room if I do that... I'll get back from a week away and have even more to catch up on

    They look like the ipods of 2005 ?

    i bought the Archos AV480 for the kids at Xmas,maybe expensive, but what a gadget,80Gb, records from the Tv and computer Cannot recommend highly enough. Have had no problems at all with it

    I get the feeling this is going to be difficult choosing - although I have until the end of March before I make a decision.

    Must admit swaying towards the Archos and the AV480 or AV4100 but then to confuse matters further there is the new PMA400 which has all the usual features and its a PMA !

    Well i've done it - ordered the Mustek last night, delivery AM friday (fingers crossed)

    I will post regular updates if you wish as to how its going, my opinions etc...
