Goals for week commencing 17 September

Options
It's Sunday morning - which means it's goals time again. If you posted a to-do list last week, let's hear how well you've done (click here for last week's thread).

And if this is your first time, it's pretty simple. Post a list of the things you aim to do in the next seven days - having a public record of it might help you achieve them. And come back next week to tell us how you've done.

Last week's goals
  • Strictly £100 budget for everything this week
-- £100.21, but I don't think I'll beat myself up too much about that extra 21p.
  • Take lunch to work (or make lunch at work) at least two days
-- Only managed one day. Work kitchen is still unsuitable for preparing food.
  • Aim for at least two no-alcohol days
-- Didn't manage a single one. Which is pretty crap, all things considered.
  • Catch up on all the MSE threads I've been meaning to read this week
-- At least I did something as planned this week.
  • Stop buying so many lunches and coffees and stuff
-- Getting there with the coffees. Lunches still need some working on.

And here are mine for next week
  • £100 absolute maximum for everything
  • I've given myself a three day week: take lunch to work at least once
  • Do a good job on Thu and Fri (freelancing elsewhere during my annual leave)
  • Sort out Egg. They blocked Egg Green card - not Egg Money as requested.
  • Beginning looking at flats on internet - contemplating a move to Brighton.
  • Book a meeting to discuss progress at work (three months since I started).
  • Find first £200 for my overdraft challenge (see below)

Comments

  • First time posting my goals...... here i go
    • Request statements from Abbey & start the ball rolling to persue bank charges.
    • Take lunch to work at least twice
    • Get up early enough so i can get to work in time to get a free parking spot at least twice this week - hard as i am definatly NOT a morning person
    • list at least 30 items on e-bay

I will report back next week to let you know how i got on
