Thinking of joining, not for the fitness, I am as fit as a fiddle but the water bottle is a great attraction.

fitness first is a con!!! 130.00 admin fee then 30 pound a month after that u get free water but who wants to pay all that for water???? think how much booze u cud buy!!!!Lozzybooo

you are quite right they are expensive. me and my sister went to join and all they were interested in was how much we gave them, not what they could do for us!!!
i was totally unimpressed and peeved!!
so i think this free trial will be just what i need to feel better, dont think i will join though, i have a nice small friendly gym i attend, with nice people in!!

i was a member with these a couple of years ago and although expensive i did enjoy it and made the most of the free toiletries and drinks LOL
but alot are offering free joining fee at the mo so check and blag em, they can offer it if that want to

When I joined a few months back it was £30 admin then £30 a month(student rates, though my NUS card had actually ran out but you know what the people at the gym are like
)
When I was down covent Garden, they quoted £30 admin, then £45 each month. I wasn't having none of this so I joined down Eastbourne to get the rates cheaper. This allows me to use 95% of all the fitness first gym in the UK.
Also if you go to go their website you can actually print off a free one day trail. Sainsburys also had 2 free one day passes in their 4xpotatoes packs
