What's the deal?
In this month's (September 2006) issue of Cosmopolitan there is a voucher for a free sample of Estee Lauder Illusionist Intense Maximum Curling Mascara (worth £9). The magazine costs £2.70 and to get your sample simply take the voucher on page 12 to any Estee Lauder counter nationwide.
T's and C's
One sample per customer. Offer available to the first 30,000 readers. Photocopies not accepted. Value of sample calculated by reference to recommended retail price of saleable size. Offer closes 20 September 2006 and is while stocks last.

In this months issue of Cosmopolitan magazine there is a voucher that you need to take along to your nearest Estee Lauder counter to claim your free sample of Illusionist Intense Mascara (worth more than £9).

Hi - I went into my local department store with my copy of Cosmo today. The girl behind the counter checked the staff info sheet and the following applies globally to this offer :
Promotion running from 14th August (Monday) to 3rd Sept
Mascara sample is 4ml (which is probably £9 worth as full-size costs £17+)
You are also offered a make-up or skincare consultation, after which if you buy 2 products you get a free gift-bag (it's very nice!)

Several months back Good Housekeeping had a similar freebie only with Clinique perfume. As I'm a subscriber my copy comes very early. In spite of this there were 'no free samples left' at my local Clinique counter. Result: wasted trip into town and ended up spending money on a 'must have' scarf and gloves set instead!!!! I now tend to treat cosmetic freebies with scepticism - I certainly wouldn't make a special trip to town for one!Waddle you do eh?0
