Kids go free to london theatres

Official MoneySavingExpert.com Insert

What's the deal?

Official Theatre London are running 'Kids Weeks' between 15 and 29 August and as part of this kids can go free with one full-paying adult to a range of shows and activites.

How to get the tickets

Simply go to the Kids Week website, choose the show you want to book and follow the links to the ticket hotline or Ticketmaster. Shows are split into age categories to give guidance on suitability with shows ranging from under 5's, all ages, PG and 15+.

Not sure if you know, but from the 18th august till 1st sept kids go free to selected thatre shows in London.

One free child up to 16 yrs for every adult ticket.

I took mine to see Chitty chitty bang bang last year and it cost me £80 rather than the usual £200!

Still not cheap cheap, but if you're not taking the kids away this year, it's a nice treat.. mine loved thier 1st visit to a london theatre

Thanks for this, would never have considered going before to be honest. I have also found that if you look outside of kids week and go for evening performances you can find tickets that cost £10 each for sale. Look on ticketmaster website and choose the £10 option. I also considered doing a £10 one in the evening, staying overnight and then doing the kids week one the next day to get a couple of visits in.

Hurrah, my first theatre visit ever - at the age of 37 - to see HSM! Now I just have to brush up on the song lyrics......
