If you like movies, here's a site that shows you where on the net to get DVDs for free. There are quite a few ways, either from free DVD rental trials or completing simple surveys which reward with a free DVD of your choice. Also lists the when the newspapers are offering a free DVD with the paper.

Absolutely genius. I have just started my third free trial with Tesco.com and was attempting to get the trial with Screenselect only to find they are managed by the same company that deals with Tesco so this site will prove extremely useful for a freebie hunter like me!! Thanks again.PROUD TO HAVE DEALT WITH MY DEBTS0

Got bored of doing the survey but found you can just press next to skip through it all, it still says they will send you a DVD out at the end... we'll see....

So far I've done a free trial with blockbuster, lovefilm and now tesco.com. Not 3 trials with tescos if that's how you read that!PROUD TO HAVE DEALT WITH MY DEBTS0 -
I have done Blockbuster, dvd.co.uk, Tesco, Lovefilm, Mymoviestream and sainsbury's. Went through Quidco for most of them, and got £22.50 cash back.
Dvd.co.uk gave me a free month and £20 voucher.
Not bad for a few clicks of the mouse !!!!:j
The important thing to remember is to cancel before the free trial ends and get the discs back to them in time.0 -
nice.
On that site are all kinds of DVD freebies. Aparently you can just fill in a survey and get a free DVD movie in the mail.0 -
Is it your site then debtdrinker?

BTW, I think you should clarify the thread title - with the exception of the dvd.co.uk voucher (if still running) and the ropey old Buddy Holly DVD they are still banging out
this is about Free DVD Rental offers - not ones to keep! 0 -
mymoviestream: if you put in WILKINSONGIFT where it asks for any codes they'll extend it from 2 weeks to four
blockbuster: (as seen in martin's article) use monsav151 in codes section and you'll get a month instead of 14 days
Remember! for most of free trial DVD rental listed on that site, do not go directly there. Go through Quidco. (or other cashback sites, though Quidco usally has most cashback)0 -
I did the 'Free' month with Tesco, but beware what day you start/end the 28 days - my first dvd took the best part of a week before I received it, plus when I went to cancel, although I had sent the last one back, they won't register your account as closed until they have received it, so you should probably give it a good 3 to 4 days minimum, even though they are supposed to be first class. Therefore a 4 week free trial is probably only up and running for just over 2 weeks- I wouldn't think a 14 day trial ( if by post) would be worth the hassel.
Also of course remember to remove all the dvds on your selection, so they don't send you out any more in the post in the meantime, which of course they will charge you another months subscription for !!
I did my sub with Tesco when the offer of the day got me 2 free cinema tickets as well as the free trial. There are some good incentive offers out there, but as usual they bank on you not being on the ball and being late cancelling/returning etc. :rolleyes:0 -
Good point. 2 weeks is pretty short - but there are promotional codes around from time to time to extend it to a month0
