Just had news from a friend that Au Naturale is in administration and will cease trading next week. Shops are closing on the 3rd, 4th and 5th of next week and there is a rumour that all stock will be reduced by 50%.
Might well be worth a visit.

Apparently Ethel Austin shops are included also.

Read this in local paper.

Dont think they are all closing,i know someone who works there and they have been told that their jobs are safe, but she did say some were closing.Think they may just transfer stock to the stores that arent closing0

I was in the Reading Ethel Austin and wanted to buy some drawer dividers that were on sale but when I got to the till, they informed me that the stock wasn't for sale so I left empty handed!0

Some are closing and some not, our Ethel Austin is closing and they still have lots of stock but hardly anything reduced, I dare say they'll just transfer it to stores that are staying open0

I thought most Au Naturale stores had already gone because 2 ones local to us went last year not long after woolworths. Pound world bought it. The staff told me back then that they had gone bust but were hoping for someone to buy them out. Stock went to 75 % off and i got some great bargains. Most items were 25p and some on BOGOF as well. This is my signature!0

We have an ethel auston/au naturelle shop here (ironically in the old woolies) which only opened in Nov. I think it's staying open for time being according to the local paper but you never know.
