Hi! Firstly many apologies for bumping this thread but ............... yesterday I entered this comp with no probs. Nominated my friend for a download, carried on comping as you do. A couple of hours later my friend opened up his email telling him about the free download (but he didn't click on the link provided). Within seconds he was hit by what looked like a windows security download informing him that he had 100+ serious virus threats etc etc and to download the suggested programme!!! At the same time I too was hit by the same, telling me I have 200+ trojans etc. Bit of a coincidence?

Obviously neither of us downloaded the suggested (hacker) programme but was very difficult to cancel. I was lucky, no viruses affected my lappy but my friend not so lucky and he was hit by 80+. These were dealt with by his installed security system.

Anyone else had this prob?

Just wanted peeps to be aware.xxxx
