Do antibiotics make you dizzy?

I am currently on an antibiotic called c0-amoxiclav for a kidney/gall bladder infection (dr wasn't sure which).
I got it very MSE-wise as I have a pre-payment certificate for my many prescritions.
The thing is, I've been feeling a bit dizzy since taking them, and I wondered if any other MSEers have noticed this side effect when taking this tablet.#
Cheers

To be honest, i think different medicens affect people in different mays,
If u r concerned i would contact the doctors - have u read the notes that come with the medicince as there r listed sideaffects (dizzyness could be one):j Baby boy Number 2, arrived 12th April 2009!:j0 -
If you type the name of them into google you can usually find more information about what it is you are taking, I alway do this with anything the doctor has prescribed. But reading the instuction leaflet that comes with the medication is always a good start.0

Thanks for the advice. I just Googled it and one of the first symptoms to come up is dizziness. If it carries on I'll have to go back to the Dr.
Thanks again x0 -
Don't know about that particular one, but there is one antibiotic I can't take without being paralysed with nausea. So yes, it can happen. Hope you can sort it out.Signature removed for peace of mind0

Thanks guys. The dizziness seems to have calmed down now. I won't go into the other side-effects lol! Good job I'm only on them for a week.
They have worked for my kidney infection though. I'm not in agonising pain anymore, so I suppose it's worth it in the short term:D0
