Looks like a premium to me - hard disk, wireless controller. I don't think these come with the core.0

yeh thats what i thought, just strange emailed me back saying "our records show that it is the core version"
Dear Mr Davidson,
Thank you for your e-mail regarding PU4711.
Our records show the above item is the core package.0 -

From the link you posted it is definatly a premium boxset but they are charging you £329 and the premium boxset normally sells for £279.99 but I presume the price is higher with it being a catalogue you are paying an extra £49 whichis a bit excessive

If it turns out that the console is a acore and they charge you £329 I would even be more angry as the core is normally sold for £1990 -
yeh, I used £20 off voucher tho so wasn't too bad. would you let them deliver it and see? cant get my head around why they emailed me sayings it core, could they be bundling it with hdd etc?0

It would do no harm I don't think as long as you don't take it out the box as if you need to send it back they will want it in the condition they sent it to you so that it could be re-sold on
Maybe you got someone that did not know what they were on about and emailed you the wrong information but the information on the website including the price and picture points towards a premium version0 -
thanks, i would say tht too, as they list the core on ther. cant see how it would be cost effective too for them to bundle it with a hdd and wireless controller. will ring them tommorow and find out more. failing that will let themm deliver it and not break the seal if its core.
cheers again0 -
right just sent this@
Hi, thanks for your email. Are you sure its the core version? As the picture of the box shows the premium box? It also comes with HDD and wireless controller/hd cable which does not come with the core. Has this been bundled with the extra items? Just cant understand why it shows the premium box? does it not contain the headset or xbox live starter?
thanks
jamie
also noticed that the £500 packages state "premium"0 -
anybody else any advice?0

My OH's advice is not to buy electricals from the likes of Littlewoods, especially video games as they always overprice. It's just not good value even if the HP agreement suits you.0

I would cancel the order and walk into Woolworths, Game, Argos etc and pay the RRP price of £279.99. Toys R Us will do decent bundles.
For the money you are paying you could get 3 games free with it from GAME:

It sounds like you are paying way over the odds here. Plus it sounds like the customer services are useless. You do have the right to cancel the order or get a refund, because of the distance seller regulations. Im sure the other guys on here will know that in more detail.0
