Did the day pass by too quick or just about right? Was it a rush to see people/get things done or Ok?

My day went far too quickly. It's the only day of the year that does go quick. I wish I had more time, to see people/do things... can't believe my work holidays is over too :O
I loved it though, my niece and nephew came over and we had a lovely time!

It goes far too slowly I think:rotfl: seems to be the longest day ever, the kids get up at death o'clock well over excited, we wake up tired and they spend all day playing with their new toys etc and it seems to go on and on, bedtime is very much look forward to:rotfl:0

It went too quickly!!
We were up at about 6.30am with 3yr old dd to open her and our presents. It's her first year of understanding it properly if you get what I mean, so it made it extra special. Ds2 was at his gf's so was my first Christmas without him which was a little sad.
We went to my parents for dinner, home for a couple of hours to sleep (!), and then on to dh's brothers house for supper. Dh has 4 brothers plus oh's and kids and his parents, so it's easiest if we can all get together at the same time. It was hectic!!
The day flew by though, despite me feeling rather flu-y. Unfortunately dd woke up at 2am being sick, and that was us until Friday really. Germsville!!! All better for work today though.........0 -
I hate how fast christmas day goes. I moved away from my family 4 years ago and going home to my mum and sisters for christmas is the best part of my year but all too soon I have to leave.
Christmas at mum's is always busy with my sisters and everyone calling in and I so miss them (never been so homesick lol) when Im back in Derbyshire.
Looking forward to summer hols in good ol Hunstanton so I can be near them again lol.Getting myself sorted 1 day/1thing at a time

Christmas Day was just right. Awake and opening presents at 8.30am and then a lovely leisurely lunch, back home from my sisters by 8pm.
Lush.
It was the days off after New Year that went too quickly
