Free Manure

This was sent to me with the heading of "Free Poo" which I thought might be a bit too headline catching!
This website is about moon gardening - gardening organically the old-fashioned way which needs manure as a fertilizer.
One of the five fundamentals of moon gardening is the highly-managed use of mixed farmyard manure. In the UK, this natural, organic material becomes increasingly difficult for gardeners to acquire as more farmers refuse to release it, instead retaining it for their fields. Head gardener
R J Harris advises that horse manure is an excellent and most proper substitute, and that the UK has more of it than it knows what to do with.
Check out this website for more information:-

If you scroll down the pink bar on the righthand side about halfway down you'll find a list of counties, click on your county and a list of manure sources will be yours!! They seem to be all located in the south of England I'm afraid.
Happy gardening...........
