Roxburghe and 3G

Hi Guy's,

Yet another one about these wonderful company's NOT. Ok basically in November I recieved a call from Roxburghe saying I owed £495 pounds for a 3 Phone I apparently had in 2004. After telling them I did not remember having an account with 3G (later I remembered I did have an 3 phone I think but can't remember any details). They sent me the standard pay or else letter. After doing some research on this great site I found out about what they are upto and decided to send them the prove it letter which I did also stating I did not acknowledge the debt and that in furture all communication must be done via letter. Then they sent me a screen shot of an account which the name is spelt Alistair where as mine is Alastair, it shows some payments made with an account number but no further details such as which bank account it came from, no address nothing else. Can this be used as proof of liability? Should I send a letter back say I want a signed copy of the original contact or a copy of a statement that was sent to me?

Thanks for all your great advice.

Regards
Alastair
