Mine's a 14 pounder. Got it Xmas Eve afternoon for just over £7 :j - reduced from nearly £30 :eek:
It's in the oven , all prepared ... just waiting to light the blue touch paper :rotfl:
Sausage stuffing in the neck, lemons & apples in the cavity.
Butter & black pepper under the skin, bacon on top.
It's sitting on a bed of carrots, onions, apples and a leek.
Draped over it is a non-stick liner and all sealed into the roasting tin with a tin-foil "lid"
Should be really juicy & tasty, and all the veg in the bottom will be blitzed into the juices to make the gravy / sauce
YUM !
