  • La Seche ridge filler is worth the money fwiw. Some of the Aldi colours are amazingly good, very similar quality to OPI - and the varnish remover is exactly the same chemical, scent, everything, so don't waste your money there!

You can buy OPI nail varnishes from Salon Services for £4.99 if you know someone with a card. Might be less hassle than importing?

I've used goodness knows how many nail products and have to say I find Nails Inc one of the worst. :(

Bought is to buy. Brought is to bring.
  • i usually get my OPI stuff from salon services/sallys. Also QVC sometimes so offers so worth a try on there
  • I find that Rimmel nail polishes are really good and quite a bit cheaper than other brands. Supermarkets stock them too.

  • Have you tried the Barbara Daly Range in Tesco, I think her nail varnish is good, I have the clear one and a very light pink one and it does tend to stay put for a long time. It is priced at about 2.50 ish a bottle and often has 3 for 2. The makeup is also good and its not too pricey.

I also don't rate the Nials Inc. much. I bought a No. 7 nail varnish a few weeks ago and thought that was pretty useless to.
  • I agree Legs, Barbara Daly's nail varnishes are very good. Not the most adventurous colours perhaps, but they are good quality.

The bestest product in her range, the one nail product I wouldn't be without, is Goodbye Yellow. It's a clear varnish, except it's not clear, it's got a tint that takes away any yellow staining on your nails. Hard to explain, but trust me, it's fab. You can use it as a topcoat as well, brightens up a lot of colours.

I don't like No7 either (love Nails Inc though).
  • I have to admit to being very impressed (and surprised) by the nailene french manicure sets, its really really hard and seems to last at least 5/6 days before starting to peal and even then it usually just one nail.

I did used to love rimmel, but I found that what ever ingredient they put in to make it supposedly last longer, and be more flexible was actually no good as it seemed to make the nail varnish soft and therefore peel very quickly.
