Thanks for the post, but we got this for Christmas last year and it takes ages to toast bread.
It now sits in the cupboard and we use the grill instead.
Will get rid of it in the new year as it take up so much space.

I threw away an old (but working) toaster when I bought this from Morrisons when it was on offer last year, and I can confirm it's a rubbish toaster, by the time it has toasted the toast is cold! :eek: To make matters worse 2 of our 4 slots won't even work now, even though we've hardly used it.
I'd totally avoid this toaster - really disappointed with it. :mad::sad:A waist is a terrible thing to mind.0 -

Argos have a Morphy Richards toaster reduced from £69.99 to £27.99.

I've a Morphy Richards toaster as well and it is as you say brilliant.
The only problem I had was I put a little too much pressure on the lever for putting the toast down and because of this it snapped off. It still works fine plus I've had it for about 6yrs now and is as reliable as ever.
Think the toaster you've mentioned is this one:
