can anyone give me a rough idea about how much i should be spending on food for us the kids are 13,12 and 10 so always hungry a rough estimate would help as i seem to be spending more and more also some meal ideas would be great or just a pointer in the right thread direction

Have a variety of quick "fillers" like home made pancakes or drop scones.
Cakes can be made in 5 minutes in the microwave.
