they are expensive allright! i'm considering getting rid of my lexmark and buying a different printer. even if it's more expensive, the savings on the cartridge prices should soon recoup the printer cost.
ok, so i'm hot... ;)

No problem at all sparkle197828..yes Lexmark ink cartridges are bloody expensive..very rarely you a retailer doing an offer/sale on Lexmark ink cartridges..Last time I bought a black Ink Cartridge (Low Yield) for £12.78 at Inkclub though Quidco. I got £8 cashback plus 20 free sheets of premium photo paper..cartridge was delivered the next day..I thought that was a good deal...anything like this around?

These look like a good idea for those unfortunate enough to be burdened with a Lexmark printer:

    Z23 and many others: http://svp.co.uk/products-solo.php?pid=1232

Did a quick google and there is a review and some other places to buy here: http://www.cdr-zone.com/news/new_snap_and_print_ink_cartridges_from_medea_international.html

    and here:
    http://www.photographyblog.com/index.php/weblog/comments/peach_snap_and_print_inkjet_cartridges/

They also do some for HP printers.

No idea how well they work cos all my printers are Epson or Canon (smug).
