Good Morning All, - AYUBOWAN - May You Live Long
Friday 27th November 2009
Please post here if you get any of today's newspapers or have the chance to look through one.
Please tell us if any of them contain coupons or freebies or vouchers OR NOT !
Important details are:
The cost of the newspaper
Whether it's a regional edition
Page number
Expiry date of the voucher
Whether it's store specific and has a barcode (POST the BARCODE NUMBER if possible)
Remember if you go shopping look in as many newspapers as you can.
Post even if you don't see any coupons, and mention any offers that you see.
Below you'll find a list of the abbreviations and how to interpret them.
MOC - Money Off Coupon
Bc - Barcode, good chance of universal scan
bc - only selected stores scan
Xwrd - Crossword
PUZ - Puzzle
T#3 - Token 3
T2collect - Token 2 Collect (generally you have to collect numerous tokens to get the offer)
Lets hope todays a good one for coupons

Thanks for posting.
But it has been confirmed - THE WORLD IS FULL OF IDIOTS!!!!!!
Some Idiot  at The Scum has printed the barcodes the wrong way round. So instead of getting 50p off your fabric conditioner you'll get £1 even though the text on the coupon says 50p. Coupon can only be used at Sainsburys, Morrisons or Nisa.
I am annoyed because I was going to combine the £1 one with a 75p coupon from a clubcard mailing to get cheap Surf. Now I'll only be able to get 50p off instead of the £1. Unless I go to the dreaded CS and argue the toss that the coupon says a £1 but it only gave me 50p off. Don't think the CS dragons will be amused.:mad:0 -

Anyone tried combining the Debenhams vouchers? eg £5 off £25 Spend with 10 off £40 Spend on Handbags0 -

Get a black marker pen and carefully add thicker lines to the barcode to make it not scan (the till won't be able to read it, but don't overdo it so it looks defaced). Make sure you just add the lines on the first few bars on the left of the barcode (or join the first few bars together), This will mean the till cannot read the 99 at the beginning at all but you won't have changed the value or anything.
Then they will have to manually input it as £1, hopefully they won't do this by tapping the numbers in though (which would still give 50p)...!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

How ingenious  But my local will tap in the numbers - they were all trained well during Coupon Heaven days, mainly by me.0
