Free Massage

Have a look at http://www.massageexchange.com/?AC=1

You register and swap massages with people, I guess you have to hope they are good at it eh?! :p

Does not appear to be the dodgy kind of "massage". :rotfl:

I suppose they can be, as with most things in life. But who has not had a shoulder massage or back rub from a friend or partner at some point? Everybody I know has survived being massaged.

But if you are unsure about it you don't have to register on the website do you?

I just spoke to my best friend about this. He is a proffesional massage/accupuncture/accupressure therapist.

He said that for a normal healthy person, a massage off an untrained person shouldn't do any harm. He said a lot depended on technic/style, but he couldn't see a big problem with this as long as there are no other complications.

This is very different if the person having the massage has any injuries/problems. In this case the massage should only be carried out by someone with the proper training. An untrained person could do more damage than good in this case.
