Avoiding Capital Gains Tax

Hi All

Can anyone advise the best way to avoid Capital gains tax on shares i own
I have made about 100k, i know I should have put in in a shares ISA but I didnt, so when I sell I will hav to pay Capital gains tax

is it possible to reinvest the profit into a house and avoid/put back capital gains until a later date?

    Transfers between spouses are tax free. You could spread the sales across several tax years, taking advantage of yoour tax free allowance each year.
    Otherwise, it doesnt matter what you do with the money when you sell an asset - CGT is payable on the gain, even if the money is reinvested.
