Financial Support For Full Time Higher Education

I'm currently claiming Job Seekers Allowence, income based benefits and I'm interested in going back in to education, doing a higher education course, which I can do full or part time.

The course starts next September and I'm wondering if I'd receive financial support. My circimstances are below:-

  • I'm classed as disabled
  • We have a child under 2
  • We're on low income
Any advice will be much apprechiated.

If you do it part time then you should receive a fee grant to pay for fees and no maintenance as you will support yourself from earnings or benefits as you do at the present.
If you do it full time there is a funding package available (as linked above), some of which will be taken into account when assessing means tested benefits.
