Hi everyone
A very lovely lady has just given me a Magimix 3000. I've had a look around the net but I cant seem to find the age of it or anything (I like to know these things!)
So how handy are they? Will it change my life lol
Cant wait to have a play with it.
What do you do in yours that cant be done in a Kenwood Chef?

Thanks guys!
I have to say I didnt know much about magimix until I was given this one. It does look very sturdy and yet really quiet in operation. I have no idea how old it is and cant find any info but I think it must be about 15 years old
I'll give it a good test this weekend when I have a bbq. I'll prep all the salad in it in five seconds flat!
I didnt think I needed one as i've got my trusty Kenwood, but I have to say this looks a completely different beast!0 -
I know it's a really, really old thread but it fits with what I need to ask. So, I recently bought a used Magimix 3000 and with it is a smaller bowl that is for chopping small quantities I guess. However, there's something missing that fits on the top of that bowl to make it work as there's a gap between the top of the little bowl and the lid of the big bowl, and until I can find out what it's called I can't search for it IYKWIM. Hope I've explained that ok!!
Thanks.0 -
Could it be this?

I'm beginning to wonder if the mini bowl is a strug. It's a different colour than the main bowl and lid and is shaped nothing like this one that was listed on ebay last year, item no. 120768846017. I suppose I need to get hold of an instruction manual or find someone with the same model to check if my mini bowl really does belong to this machine.0
