Boots - £5 Voucher Ladies Facial Skincare

Went to boots this evening and spent £5 on facial/cosmetic products 3 for £5 offer on makeup
(unsure exactly what qualifies you to get the voucher)
When I got to the till I was handed a voucher for £5.00
The voucher reads' free £5 ladies facial skincare voucher to use on these fantastic brands'
- loreal (various products)
- olay (various)
- nivea visage dnage, expert lift
- roc (various)
- Time delay (excluding cleansers)
So as you do, went back to the skincare isle and found one of the cheapest products in these ranges just over £5.
I found the time delay wrinkle reducing night serum £6.00. Which according to the above matches meets the requirements. when i went to the till the cashier said no, in which i replied 'well it should as its time delay and its not a cleanser.' The cashier then took the £5.00 off manually apologising saying they need to fix the till to accept it.so I ended up getting the serum for £1.00!! Bargain.
However, when the cashier put it through manually I ended up with another voucher for £5.00
So I could have gone back into the store and do the same thing over and over and get all the wrinkle serums on the shelf for a £1 each!!
Dont know if its just a glitch from the cashier however, even so boots are giving the £5 voucher if you spend over £5 on facial/cosmetics out so you can get something in the range cheap!
