Payday Loans with Quick Quid

I very stupidly took out 2 payday loans :embarasse, a few months back. One of which i now need to pay back £130 when i get paid at the end of the month. This one is ok since it i will have cleared it.
The other one is with Quick Quid and i have £375 outstanding.I have now defaulted on the loan.I just can't afford to pay up a hundred quid (or whatever amount plus the fee as well) each month particularly as its coming up to xmas.

I have tried explaing to QQ that i would like to set up a payment plan with them but have had no luck what so ever & are being really unhelpful.

I know its my own stupid fault really for actually taking the pay day loan to start with but i had just started a new job , and didn't have money for me to ensure that my rent & bills were paid that month.

Can anyone help please?

I had trouble getting Quickquid to agree to a payment plan aswell.

Did you call or email them? They wouldn't agree over the phone, but would agree over email (so second attempt). I structured the payment plan of £370 over 5 months but they only accepted when I agreed to pay in 4 months.

Keep pushing and if you need any help, let me know.

Got 3 payday loans outstanding various places, defaulted on 2 (with same company, me and wife) Poundstillpayday, and trying my luck to set up a payment plan, with them, initially had an email saying I should never borrowed it in first place etc.... we owe... £1500 ish between us to them.

Hopefully they'll give in and set one up with me.

i called them. Do you recommend sending them an email then? Did they keep putting the £75 fee on as well or did they waive it?

    Cheers for the advice.:D

Yes they did, although i've heard PTP can be awful at accepting it.
  • This was the email response to me saying having financial difficulties would like to set up a payment plan. I didnt' even say how much I can pay.

    "Pounds Till Payday

    Thank you for your email.

I do sympathasise with your current financial situation, however, your proposal
to make a repayment plan is not acceptable.

Pounds Till Payday are a short term loan company with the funds to be paid on
    your payday.

If you knew you were going to be unable to repay the loan, you should not have
applied for the funds in the first instance.

As you know, the funds were issued to you in good faith and were due to be
repaid on the 02.10.09, as agreed in the loan agreement you entered into.

As per the terms & conditions of the loan agreement, it clearly states that
Pounds Till Payday do not allow rollovers, extensions, payment plans nor
    payments in installments.

The loan is issued on a maximum 31 day loan period.

Being you have defaulted on your payment, your file has been issued to me as
    your Account Manager.

As your Account Manager, I can hold on to your file for a maximum of 4 weeks to resolve payment.

You have a deadline of the 07.11.09 to make full payment of £773.89.

Unfortunately, if full payment is not received by the above date, your file will
    be escalated.

This will result in being passed to a 3rd party Debt Collection agency who
operate a door to door collection service.

Obviously, I do not wish this to happen to you, and sincerely hope we can
    resolve this issue.

Please be aware that if you do pay the full outstanding amount by the 07.11.09, you will still remain a customer in good standing with Pounds Till Payday and will be free to reloan within 2 hours of making payment.

    This may help your situation.

However, my hands are tied with regards to your deadline.

I look forward to your response.

    Regards,
    Account Manager"

Have they applied charges to your account yet?

Reply with the template and actually make a monetary offer that you can afford.
  • i just sent an email to QQ so fingers crossed they accept.

The other payday loan i have is with poundstilpayday. I can't wait to get it paid off so i can wave goodbye to them.

I hope you manage to get things resolved with them insomniac !
