I'm lost, I've wanted these for ages but I don't want to spend more than I have to. Which is best/cheapest? Anyone got experience of these? I did a search on here and came up with nada.

I would say do NOT get the cheap ones from Lidl - I got some and they split in no time flat. One of the few things I have had from there that has been no good. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0

I would agree, i got some of the cheaper ones and a couple have lost the air seal, so are effectively just bags now. I would pay the little extra for better quality.

BM Store do a pack of 2 for about £4 I think - and they're fab!0

I bought the expensive ones from QVC ages ago to put spare quilts and stuff in, they didn't work very well though and the air got back in them and they puffed back up making it impossible to remove from the drawers under the bed =/0

I've been googling my socks off. And I was all set to get the 'Original Space Bags' from their Uk website only to discover that
1. I can only buy them in sets (I only want their jumbo totes, and lots of them)
and
2. They seem to have lots of 'offical websites'
Then I looked some more and discovered reviewers on amazon uk saying they are rubbish and leak the air back in and one reviewer saying buy JML ones they are better. (I thought the JML ones were 'Original Space bag' branded ones).
I am confused
I can see this being a very expensive experiment. *Make every day Caturday*0 -
I got the ones you roll up from Lakeland for my DD who went backpacking round Oz, they were good and enabled her to squeeze more in to carry! By rolling them up the air is squeezed out so you don't need to be near a vacuum! The only problem was that the opening was restricted because of the 'zip' effect so it wasn't easy to get big stuff in.0
