  You dont actually need an invite if its for Messenger 8 beta :beer:
  
  At the top right click, Beta Users sign in here
  
  Then on the next page on the left click, Sign up for windows live

  Live is a new Set of Products/Services from Microsoft - another 10 or 15 in fact!
