Can parcels arrive at anytime in the day...or just with the post (:rolleyes:)?

    They are delivered separately from the post as it is a separate service which incidentally won't be affected by the postal strikes along with Special Delivery and Royal Mail Tracked items

    Parcelforce will operate as normal as it has its own collection, distribution and delivery network
    Special Delivery and Royal Mail Tracked items will still be delivered on strike days

    Its a pain everytime I hear a car I think it is a van bringing me something the same with knocks on the door I think wooo I won and it my dads stupid windows 7 or what ever it is called.

    I know how your dad feels, I can't wait to get my Window's 7 as well :D

    it just can't be any worse than windows vista :rolleyes: can it! :confused:

    Last week I had three deliveries in the same day - a parcel woke me up at 8am, the regular postie came at 12.30 then another parcel delivered at 4pm....No wonder Royal Mail's in a mess!! What a waste.

    Hopefully i'm still waiting for my first win and I keep thinking if nothing comes by the end of the month I might give up so I keep hoping something will come so then I dont give up ha. I been comping since like mid to end of september time not waiting for anything in particular though.

    its not a seperate service within RM
    parcels will not be delivered during the strikes

    van duty delivering large parcels out in the morning
    foot postie out doing standard delivery in the afternoon
    contingency driver clearing mail backlogs in the afternoon


    in the old days the driver in the morning would check to see if the foot postie had packets fro the addresses they were going to.
    now with cut,cut,cut its just now possible to do,at 8am packages are still being sorted.
    thats progress RM style
