You could win your own piece of designer gear, thanks to BlackBerry and The Carphone Warehouse. They’ve partnered with hot British fashion designer, Richard Nicoll on the launch of the BlackBerry® Curve™ 8520 smartphone in violet, BlackBerry’s newest and most affordable smartphone. Ahead of his widely anticipated show at London Fashion Week on 20 September 2009, he’s squeezed in time to design a limited-edition pouch for the handset, taking inspiration from its cool violet colour.
Which British designer has teamed up with BlackBerry to design a limited edition pouch?
Victoria Beckham
Christopher Kane
Richard Nicoll
I have searched URL & Blackberry. Apologies if I have missed anything.

They are indeed correct I suppose from what is in the post from MSE Andrea, but a little bit of an usual first post from Collective, ie advising others that they are doing wrong!!0 -

'Collective' is not someone from the competition, or a new member, but apparently a group of MSE members who are unhappy with the competitions I post. I received the following pm from them today at 12:25 and 12:29 -
Posting Etiquette
A number of us from MSE are getting very annoyed with you posting competitions from websites that already have regular posters. It is good manners on MSE to find your own competition websites rather than constantly posting from websites that have already been found by someone else. We therefore ask you not to post from websites that already have regular posters and to find your own to post from
Also you are requested by MSE Andrea not to copy and paste competition text.

I am aware that on the Postal, Text and Phone board there is a list of members who take responsibility for posting comps from particular sources but I did not realise that this was the case with the main board as well. I apologise if I have offended anyone by my posts but I have searched and cannot find any mention of particular members being responsible for posting competitions from particular sites. If there is an unwritten rule about this perhaps it would be a good idea to make it a written one so that new members like myself are aware of the situation and will not be subjected to personal messages like the one above. Although I am relatively new to MSE I have been comping for a long time, long before I joined this forum, and have a large database of websites that I get competitions from. MSE has introduced me to new sites but I have never posted competition threads from ones I did not already use prior to joining.
It is obvious from the pm that I have angered certain people with my posts but I would have a lot more respect for them and their comments if they had been upfront about their opinion and not hid behind a new user name. If these comments are the general consensus of opinion then I will stop posting. I am very interested to hear other members’ views on this matter but I appreciate that this is not the place for further discussion so please do not bump this post.0 -
ahh the mse (edited by mse, was referring to the itialian crime family...)
probably the same people that constantly admonish you, 30 seconds after you post,of the slightest error. One assumes they are not employed/employable and spend their lives doing this......you know who you are!!0 -
Could be wrong, but it might be the pictures that are the problem as they're hosted on the comp site, so using their bandwidth? Think this op is the only person to post pictures?
Just a thought.0 -
for gods sake, you post competitions, people win from the comps you post, whats the bloody fuss about? i like the pics, i like the txt and people can post any comp they like so stuff the moody beggers
.xx
thanks for posting the comp:D0 -
It is rather silly. If it's not on here then post it. It shouldn't be down for one person to post all competitions from one particular site. I like the pics and more importantly I like the info as it helps me decide whether I am going to enter or not, stops me wasting my time.
Thanks to all who post.BEST WIN LAST YEAR - MULBERRY HANDBAGSENDING STICKY VIBES TO THOSE WHO NEED THEM0 -
I do have a problem with the pics being posted actually. (And I don't really care who posts what although having more than catowen doing the ITV comps bar the odd one that Dalkirst does saves on confusion). The problem with copying text is that it is a potential breach of copyright so minimising what you post is prudent. Pics are also subject to copyright so unless it's 100% necessary, pics shouldn't be posted.
kateabDefinitely NOT the blogger at Katie and the Kids, OK?0
