Investing SIPP monies

Anyone got any good tips for where to invest SIPP money?
As drawdown is not too many years away, I would rather earn (say) 4.5% in a cash investment than speculate on equity funds....

Not sure which Cash accounts will accept SIPP money though....

thanks

Ask your SIPP provider as many will have arrangements with banks on a range of cash accounts.

I did mention the RBS Royal Bond recently.

Was issued last month, with a coupon of 5.3% and a 6 year maturity.

Is now trading at about 100.7 which makes the yield to maturity about 5.15%.

Note this is not a 'saving' account or bond and does not benefit from FSCS protection.
