The Targus Notebook Backpack CN600 is half price at WHSmith from £39.99 down to £19.99. Fits 15"/15.4" screen laptops. Perfect for the Dell Inspiron 1300 everyone seems to have - fits really snugly in its own cushioned pouch.
Seems to be only at this price in-store, but it's this one:

They also had a WHSmith own branded backpack (very similar in size - but didn't feel as good quality) for half price at £9.99.
