I'm not struggling paying off my monthly credit card bills but am wanting to consolidate so that I can increase free cash each month and perhaps start some savings...

the only way you would reduce your monthly payments is by extending the time you take to pay and thus increase dramatically the amount of interest you will pay over a longer period,consolidating is rarely a good idea UNLESS the majority of existing loans all charge high rates of interest.
Best bet would be to concentrate on repaying your existing loans as quickly as possible,after all why worry about savings that atm will attract at best 2-3% interest when borrowings may cost well over 10%??0 -
I thought that you owed £168,000 on cc's and unsecured debt, £20,000 loan isn't really going to make much difference is it?0
