I applied for this but had an email from them asking where I'd heard about them from as they'd had loads of requests!!

Quite a lot of upsetting pictures and information sent with the pack for the under 18's, not many recepies which we were expecting :rolleyes:0

I thought there were plenty of recipes in it when I recieved it last year. And I don't think it is too upsetting for under 18s - they have a right to know where their food comes from.
It makes you think and I have enjoyed plenty of meals using the recipes.0 -

I sent off for this free veg info pack a while ago. I got an email back from the veg people, asking where I'd heard about it, as they'd had a huge demand for it and were a bit puzzled as to why.
I just had a big impression that people probably just send off for something for no other reason than because it's free, and while this may be OK for free stuff from big corporations, it's not really appropriate for smaller organisations, trying to promote things like people eating veg!
I strongly believe that there should be an emphasis on people only taking what they NEED, and not just grabbing free stuff for the sake of it.0
