Thank you so much, OP! I've just bought 7 really decent hardback books for stocking fillers at the grand cost of £10.43!!! Free delivery!

    Fantastic!!!

  • This is a great deal if you actually want to possess the books but it's still loads cheaper to get books you won't want to keep from your library. Many libraries now offer online reservation for around 50p or so - you can just sit at home, go through the Amazon catalogue and look at their reviews and when you see one you want, order it from the library. Most libraries seem to allow you to draw on your county's holdings so you're almost certain to be able to find any book you want - you can often renew online as well so that you don't need to keep going back to the library to renew.

I agree this is a great deal for books as gifts, though! I'd just say don't go mad and forget that for yourself, for books you don't need to keep, the library is cheaper!
  • but great offers for Christmas stocking fillers - thanks OP :)
  • thankyou, have had fun choosing 4 books for myself, though should really be asleep! i appreciate you letting us know the link. :)
  • Nice Price but sadly nothing in the list that's caught my eye - seems much like the titles I would expect in my local charity shop than a national distributor.
Definately the leftover stock of unwanted clutter. (i'll wait for the £1.50 sale to fall further to possibly a £0.50)

Not at all! I bought a variety of books on History and Myths which I will give to my Nana who is interested in both with some toffee for Christmas and I bought a HSM book for my middle ones stocking.

Thanks for the heads up OP!:T
  • Ordered 4 books as stocking fillers - have now officially started my xmas shopping, yey!! The Xmas sticker books would be perfect for the folk on the xmas crafting threads who are looking to make xmas eve hampers for children...
