hi - i've done a forum search and nothing came up, so thought i'd post as this might be of use to teachers?

"CountDown to Copenhagen
I would like to order a FREE starter pack including a DVD, lesson ideas, role-plays and an action, plus stickers and posters, to help get my students involved in the CountDown to Copenhagen. Available in September."

http://www.actionaid.org.uk/101898/teach_climate_change.html

if you click on the 'schools' tab, there are also various free downloadable resources.

browsing the site i also came across this free mp3:

http://www.actionaid.org.uk/6degrees/?page=free-download

and you can potentially get a bat for lashes track for free, too.

hope it's useful/enjoyable for some people!

Good finds! It would be really good if people only applied for these if they are going to use them though!

thanks for providing the clickable links, lew.

glad they will be of use. i'm not a teacher/home educator so didn't order myself, but figured awareness-spreading was what it's all about
  • There are more free downloadable teaching resources from Save the Children - lots round Citizenship / PSHE. All the downloadable resources are free (although you do have to pay for the ones that are hardcopy or with DVDs). There are lesson plans and games / activities.

As a new user, I can't post a link I'm afraid - but if you go to savethechildren.org.uk and then click on the Resources tab at the top - Teaching Resources are on a link on the top right of the page. Hope it's useful.
