Sounds like you have a wonderful base for all sorts of soups and do pick all the tasty bits of meat left on the carcase they can only add flavour... just make sure you get all the sharp bones removed....

    Enjoy :T

Next time you boil up a chicken carcass you might want to ad some roughly chopped carrot and celery, an onion cut in half and studded with a couple of cloves, a bay leaf and some salt and pepper for extra flavour. You fish all the bits out before use and it gives you a liquid which can be used as a stock or eaten as a clear chicken soup in its own right.

It's not a silly question fizzel. If I'm freezing stock I reduce it by boiling it quickly so it doesn't take up so much space in the freezer.

There's an older thread on making stock that you might want to read:

cant help with the chicken/stock thing but noticed in your signature about the double buggy.....have you tried freecycle? https://www.freecycle.org we are in similar position to you debtwise and when i had my 2nd daughter last year i was lucky enough to get an almost new double buggy and raincover from there.ok so you might not get one that good but you may at least get something to keep you going??
