Just in case someone is planning to book a consultation and wasnt aware of Cashback Site offer. ( cant see that this has been posted before  )

Top paying sites appear to be Quidco, Froggybank, Topcashback and Fatcheese. :T ( Thumbs down to 60.00 from Cashback Kings  )

    cheese.gif :rotfl: One, today
  • I received £65 but that was following my treatment! For anyone thinking of having treatment at Ultralase I thoroughly reccomend them. I also received £50 off the cost as I was referred by a friend and 10 percent discount through my union.
  • did you have to stay awake during the op?
  • Yes. I was scared but needn't have been. It's a bit uncomfortable but quick and painless. Anesthetic drops are used and just to warn anyone thinking of going for consultation just to get £65 the same drops are used during consultation for them to carry out various tests. Again no pain but a little bit uncomfortable.

Long time discussion thread, just in case anyone who is interested in the subject is not aware of its existence.

    I applied via :
    http://www.topcashback.co.uk
    on reading :

    "Attended Appointment Booked Online" £65.00
Cashback Please note, cashback is only paid after the "appointment" has been completed.

And attended on the 6th August and have NO cashback.

I cant afford their prices,The optometrist diagnosed just detectable cataract and advised that laser treatment is inappropriate.
However they quoted a price of £6500  to replace my eye lens's ,
(which she said the NHS would do for FREE,but I would have to wait until it became worse)

    So much for :

    "Attended Appointment Booked Online" £65.00
Cashback Please note, cashback is only paid after the "appointment" has been completed.

The optometrist also said they would give the prescription,
which they then refused to supply when I left.

One place I will NOT go back to again.
