yes i got an extra 80 quid and 80 quid to pay of my debts

hi everyone
you may may not rember me i was the one who wasted money on takeaways and in suppermarkets well what most of you didnt know was that lynzpower has been helping me everday with meal planers and spending habits and thanks to her and so many of you what repiled to my thread so far this month i have saved 160.00 on not haveing takaways :eek: please rember that this is only three weeks worth :eek: next month i see what i saved in a month and also on my food buget i have saved around 120.00 :T from not over spending so my oh who earns the money in our house said i can have half the 160.00 to do what i want with the other is to pay toward our debt and the 120.00 he is not sure what to do with any ideas so thankyou so much everyone and double thanks lynz

  • well done, but i'd def put the other £80 towards paying off any debts, the sooner your free of them the better you'll feel.

    Pay 3/4 off your debt and see if you can pick up a cheap breadmaker & sc with the rest. (car boot sale?, or Charity Shop)

    Give yourself a treat from Boots- check out boots thread for pampery stuff

    Pay off some more of your higher rate debts and then place a wanted ad on freecycle for a slow cooker and a breadmaker. Im sure somebody will have them out there collecting dust or taking up cupboard space. My breadmaker was in the cupboard untill I really got into this site but it is back out and working now - just tastes toooo good though :p

    youve got me thinking...
    we have a Chinese every weekend without fail. kind of a tradition in our house.

    It costs just over a tenner for the two of us.

    thats approx £520 a year AAARRGGGHHHH !

    Debt at lightbulb moment £14,800
    Current debt £6336
    Cleared £4206 in November 05 How ? Bye Bye PPI :)
