Do you want your laundry clean, soft and fresh naturally?
Use soapnuts!
Environmentally friendly, sustainably produced, bio-degradable and compostable
I saw this posted on T&T two days ago. Never heard of Soapnuts before but after searching the net I noticed it has been around for a while. The product sounds incredible if it really works. I looked under Testimonials and it seems as if they give out free samples so I have contacted them for some. :rotfl:

I have been using these for over a year now on my daughters cloth nappies, you can use them until they go black which is more than the stated 2 or 3 times. As they are natural they contain no bleaches (which even non bio contains bleaching agent) so ocassionally I add ecover laundry bleach to brighten whites during the winter however sunshine is the best bleach and its free!
I live in a v. hard water area and they don't make things softer for me so don't expect too much from these.0 -
I've used them and wasn't that impressed. Turned my cloth nappies yellow. I use Eco Balls instead which I find are much better with Ecover laundry bleach for tough stains.

All in all, both solutions will save you money though.

Would you like a 30-day trial? We realise that these are amazing claims to be making. For this reason, we’re more than happy to let you try Eco Balls for 30 days. If you don’t see the benefits, just return them to us and we’ll refund you in full for the cost of the item.
