Hi guys need some advice what do as I got Car loan with Welcome Car Finance ,The guy use to deal with my account he left the Company and he very nice never had problem with him even the late payment but since this new Guy took over my account he is calling me all the time and sending me call charges letters for calling and will visit my house if I don’t answer his phone even in 2008 he shouted at me and hang-up on me and I complained they apologised and credited my account £50 but now this guy is really getting on my nerves .My monthly payment was £217.43 and I started to struggle in mid 2008 and I am still so I am like down only 2 payment s but I am pretty sure that I can clear the account before April 2010. But this guy is saying I can not keep carry on paying one month less and catch it up on later with short payment he want me to take another less monthly payment option more 4years time the figure he gave was crazy £4800 for even less than £2000 that I own them but he putting lots of charges on my account God know what they are .Anyway he also called me other day asking me that if I don’t take new deal I he will take my car away and I said to him I have paid more than 3rd on the account so you need to get court order and which I am confidence that the money I paid and I own is not much left and you want me make deal I think the court will look into it and I will get away from this nasty charges that you are putting on my account so go ahead with but than he said he can get court order and transfer this credit on your house than you will get problem remortgage .I was really shocked of what he said to me .So guys please help me what to do thanks .

It really sounds like he is on commission for selling loans, it may be worth writing to the company (by recorded or preferabily special delievery), that you only wish to communicate by post, theres usually draft letters floating around on the debt free wanabee.

As I dont know the terms and conditions of the paperwork, may be worth going through it again with a fine toothcomb and see where you stand x

Hi,Don't be bullied into taking out a secured loan on your house. You could end up losing your home.I suggest you write a letter of complaint.Seek advice from the CAB.You could also ring the National Debt Helpline 0808 808 4000
