Some nice items in Redcar store. I bought "Gorgeous" black velvet jewellery box (was £12), granny hat (was £8), blue cotton hat (was £8), keyring and photoclip (was £5) and tights (was £3).

In wilmslow i got 2 hannah montana wigs (£15), hello kitty jewlry set (£12) Hello kitty pencil case (£6) and a cupcake necklace, bracelet & ring jewlry set (£4). All for £5 !!

In my local Claire's (South Manc) I got today

Hello Kitty necklace/earring set x 2 (originally £9 each)
Hello Kitty phone sock x 2 (originally £4 each)
and a High School Musical poster (originally £3)

((By the way, I don't have a child, these are for my friend & I, both in our 20s

I got some lovely items on Wednesday & am going back to see what else there is today.

Excellent, was wondering when they would be doing the fiver bags again. Last time we got ideal stuff for my eldest, all the goth type stuff with skulls etc. DD is really way past all the hello kitty stuff now. We manhandled the bags for ages before we picked them and were scowled at by the SA!! Must pop in...

Can you choose what you want for 5 for £5 or is it in a bag, if not I'm there xx 3 nieces, 2 daughters equals an excellent find x

I can only tell you about the Claires in Redcar but I chose what I wanted. They had two display stands that have "5 for £5" header cards on them, and the assistant was very nice in pointing out what was included and what wasnt. There wasnt any "hello kitty" stuff included in Redcar. So I was able to choose any five items from the two displays, so I guess its a case of what wasnt selling in that shop ends up in the sale. The redcar store didnt have mystery bags ... and I dont know what hair twists are!

Thanks OP, in Watford, yesterday the SA told me apart from footwear, sunglasses, watches and bags anything with a sale sticker on it, hanging on the display units or in baskets was included in the 5 items for £5. I got a "Hello kitty" kids make up set that was orginally £8,a necklace (was £5.50) and bangle set (£5.50) and 2 pairs of earings (each £5.50) for £5. Daughters were delighted. There were lots of necklaces, sunhats,earings, hair twists, hair bands and clips, white tights, glasses cases, phone bits, pens in the sale.
