Products revisited

I recently treated myself to a Chanel lipgloss, I used to use Chanel make up and skincare years ago and just moved on to other brands for no particular reason, I had forgotten what lovely make up they have and I am really pleased with my lipgloss.

A similar thing happened the other day when I bought Pantene Ice conditioner, again I used to use this regularly but for no real reason moved on, having used it the past couple of times I have washed my hair I remember how good it is and wonder why I ever stopped using it.

Has anyone else gone back to products they used ages ago and been pleasantly surprised? Or has anyone gone back to a product and been really disappointed?

  • I used to use Max Factor Mascaras, I heard all the hype about the new false lash effect one with a rubber brush so stupidly went and bought one.

Its rubbish. I am now looking for a new mascara, thinking I may go for Clinique as they sometimes make my eyes a bit watery

When I ran out of chanel perfume a couple of months back I decided to use the Charlie Red my brother had bought me for christmas - I hadn't worn it since I was 18.

And I hated it, it's too strong and just doesn't suit me now. I found that really odd because I used to love it and don't remember it being so strong.

Everytime I pick up Gliss shampoo and conditioner from the Pound Shop, I realise how wonderfully moisturising it is and wonder why I don't make an effort to seek it out all the time! Easily as rich and creamy as Dove , which is rarely that cheap even when on promotion. Suppose I should buy a fiver's worth of each, each time really!
