Hi there, sorry if this has been discussed before, I tried searching and got so frustrated I gave up.....!
My OH smokes roll-ups and so he gets quite bad stains on his fingers....is there anything 'natural' he can use to get it off? He's (against my advice) scrubbing his fingers in bleach atm, and I wanted to find out if there was anything else to use that wont take his skin off!
any suggestions gratefully received!

The Body Shop used to do a blue cleaner (like a pumice stone) that is great for removing all sorts of stains. You only need to use a little soap with it and it's not as abrasive as ordinary pumice."Cheap", "Fast", "Right" -- pick two.0

I went from never getting stains on my fingers, to getting them so badly, that I needed to 'do' them daily.
I resorted to bleach, but just before I gave up, I decided to try using the toothbrush and toothpaste each time I cleaned my teeth. Is that disgustingStill, I thought it was worth a try.
Unfortunately, I never remembered regularly enough to see whether it worked. Might have done though.
Then I gave up. Hey. No stains anymore! :TCambridge Weight Plan Consultant0 -

Lemon juice - but *not* if he has any cuts on his fingers!!!!! Ouchie!!
Lemon juice is a natural whitener, but it won't work miracles after just one little scrub, he'll need to use it on a regular basis.
Years ago (maybe people still do?) once a lemon had been juiced, the half cups of lemon leftover would be used for .... elbows
Women would sit with their elbows in the half lemon cases to whiten them (ever noticed how elbows can get a darker shade and sometimes quite hard skin? ). After the lemon 'treatment', they would then rub in some baby oil to soften the skin

Oh just need to add - I'm not suggesting he sits with his fingers dipped into lemon halves
.... all he needs to do is rub the lemon skin over the staining.
