I know Weymouth quite well. Did a 2 week diving course there in 1997. Parents live about 30 miles East of Weymouth, and I nearly sent my Kids to a boarding school there.

No I am just providing a service. All the comps are out there just look and you will find.

Although there are hundreds even thousands out there to enter I normally only enter the ones that I post on here or if its a Female type comp the wife enters. If I enter a comp listed on here by someone then I will click the thanks button. Have only been at it online for about a month. I won last months Bernard Matthews comp that was posted on here. Thats why I started finding comps and posting them on here. A sort of way of saying thank you to the people that post comps on here.

About 15 years ago I was comping mad and entered loads of comps. I won loads of things. Most were sport orientated. Grand Prix tickets, snooker tournaments, Football match tickets, Season ticket to the Frankfurt Galaxy American football team. I even ended up working for Matchroom at 2 snooker tournaments after winning a contest to watch a snokker match. Met Barry Hearn, Steve Davis, Jimmy White, Steven Hendry, John Parrott.

Even won 2 comps in Take a break magazine about £2000 worth of prizes.

Last year I won a PDA on a poker website just for registering on it then caught the bug to play poker. Won over £6500 in about 6 weeks when I was between jobs. Not really a comp but at least I won. Only play poker for fun now!

The wife won a weeks cruise with RCI when we were on a cruise in 2004. Not even sure if that counts as you had to be there to be in the comp and it was really a raffle.

I won a few radio comps that were postal entries between 98 to 00 nothing big mostly tickets to West End shows or concert tickets at wembley.

When the longer days and fine weather eventually get here I will be spending my time outside so I doubt that I will continue posting or even looking for the comps.

I do also take the view that the internet reduces the chance of winning. But you have to be in it to win it!!!

I remember reading somewhere in the late 80's that British Rail ran a comp with 250 prizes and had 250,000 entry forms printed. In the end they only received 37 entries. So you never know.

Hope that answers your question Weymouth Man.
