Hairdressers - dish the dirt!

This will probably sound silly but I was thinking the other day about waiters and chefs and the stories you hear about them spitting (and worse!) in people's food if the customer is horrible. It made me wonder if hairdressers do the same thing! Not spitting in people's hair but do you find ways of getting rid of clients you don't like?
I wondered if any hairdressers purposely do their client's hair below standard or purposely make them wait a long time etc because they want rid of them?

You seriously think in the current economic climate hairdressers are looking to get rid of people? My hairdresser used to be booked up at least a fortnight in advance, probably more like a month, now I can see her at a day's notice.
If they ever did it I don't think they'll be doing it any more!0 -
I meant it a bit tongue in cheek really. I was hoping to get some funny hairdresser stories. Of course, I know that hairdressers are in the same boat as everyone else and need their clients.0

I could tell a lot of stories about what I did to those more unpleasant customers when I was a Junior, but I don't want to encourage others to do the same and as everything can be traced back to you these days I really don't want to get into trouble! The "Bloodlust" Clique - Morally equal to all. A young girl I know recently did work experience in our local hairdressers, the one considered posh and trendy, she told me stories of hairdressers making mistakes and covering them up only to tell the customer that they looked great, also the general b****ing about customers and personal comments when the staff are having a chat out the back, personally I'm not a huge fan of hairdressers anyway but this confirmed what I already suspected.Thank you for this site MartinThe time for change has comeGood luck for the future0

Oooh Plushroom, please tell!
Glowgirl, what you see about hairdressers b****ing about clients doesn't surprise me at all, I've always felt alot of hair and nail salons have very b****y atmospheres. Both my hairdresser and nail technician work from home so I am happy to avoid going into salons!

I won't get into too many details, but one favourite of mine for those that were so rude you want to smack them - did you know that washing up liquid in a tea or coffee works fantastically well as a mild laxative?!
Always be nice to the person making your tea/coffee people, it could be made by someone who knows this little piece of info! And after 6 months of putting up with your rudeness, snottiness and never getting a tip even though they've grinned and beared your ways for so long whilst running around after you week after week - you deserve this. The "Bloodlust" Clique - Morally equal to all. Not just the clients...each other, passers by, people on the radio. It's like being in the Big Brother house! Of course not everyone is like that, but the ones that don't just end up having to keep their mouths shut and ignoring the rest. The "Bloodlust" Clique - Morally equal to all. When i was doing hairdressing at college some of the full time girls used to put to much bleach in the dye and screw up peoples hair. Not to sure if they did it on purpose, but the woman would moan to me about it (i did the adult evening class) and i used to think, if you were this rude to her im not suprised.
They obviously get loads of free treatments to correct it afterwards though.
