Dont think I know of prices like this of a webcam of this quality, I have used a similar webcam and it is very clear picture quality.
There are other offers like external 300GB HDD for £109 and LCD monitors.

The one on ebay is only 350k pixels which is the reason costing £5, not to say £2 p+p.
I'll be getting a couple of lidl's webcam next monday. 1280x960 is the spec on lidl's page.0 -

Just bought one from Lidl and of course the blurb is misleading in the extreme.
The 1.3M only applies to snapshots. When used as a webcam the resolution is only640 x 480 (quite grainy) and there is a noticeable lag.
My Trust USB2 gives a superior picture with virtually no lag.
Still it's not a bad deal & does have 6 LEDs & a zoom function.0 -

Bought a couple today only to find what tom already said. Not good pic quality @ 640x480, very misleading. Will return them.
A friend bought a Mitsumi 2008 webcam from abroad and pic quality is excellent, most probably double the pic resolution of the Lidl's one. Dont know where to find one in the uk.
What is the best pic resolution for a webcam at the moment and how much?0 -
not sure of res and other put i got a wicked logitech1 from pc world for 24.99 half price thats 1.3mp and its rea;;y goodIf i upset you don't stress, never forget that god aint finished with me yet.0
