Any tax relief for office equipment?

My husband works from home.
We are currently converting our garage into an office for him so he can work.
He is employed, the contract states working from home.
Is there any tax relief he can get for the conversion cost, or any fixtures and fittings?
Thanks

I've not had time to go through it, so you'll have to work it out yourself I'm afraid. There is a £2.00 a week allowed (no questions asked) by HMRC which is supposed to cover everything, but you may be able (with the employers help) put a case forward for Capital allowances.0
