I am posting this in DFW as I think the content is more relevant to this section than the IVA board.
To cut a long story short, I know someone who has an IVA but he is spending vast amounts of money on holidays and luxury items; I feel I should contact the IVA people but how do I do this?
He has a history of avoiding taking responsibility for his actions and always expects others to bail him out so I really think he needs this kick up the backside to get him to sort his life out.
The whole point of an IVA, if I'm correct, is that you are honest and upfront and rather than luxuries and holidays, your money goes towards paying towards your debts. He's having the vast majority of these debts wiped out anyway when he clearly doesn't deserve to. It is making a mockery of the system which is meant to help those who are struggling.
So, who do I contact and how? Thanks in advance. By the way, my mind is made up. If I can report him, I will.
