To celebrate their 5th birthday, SpareRoom are giving away a whole year's rent! Any flat or house sharer can enter and you can enter every month. For every month you enter you'll get an extra entry - two in your second month, three in your third, etc, and for every friend you refer you'll earn an extra entry. Just enter your email address and postcode, and tell us what you'd do with a year's free rent.
There's also a monthly draw to win one month's free rent - entry into the competition automatically enters you into this.

Eligibility and entry
The competitions are open to any UK rent-paying flat or house sharer over the age of 18. A flat or house share is classed as shared accommodation where at least 2 of the residents are unrelated (and not in a relationship). The following are examples of who would be eligable to enter:
By giving us your email address you agree to us contacting you by email. No more than 4 emails will be sent in a month.
You can unsubscribe at any time, however, unsubscribing cancels any competition entries you currently have.
The closing dates for entering the current competitions are listed at http://www.spareroom.co.uk/liverentfree but are generally midday (UK time) on the last day of the month.
No purchase necessary.
All entry instructions form part of the terms and conditions.
Extra entries and increasing your chances
For every friend you refer (who follows the special personal link provided to you) who enters, you receive an additional entry. Each referred person must be a unique individual. We reserve the right to investigate friend referrals for fraud
When entering a competition, you are rewarded for any previous competition entries you made
You may be offered the opportunity to earn additional entries. The details and terms of these will be described within the offer
The prizes and the winner
The winner will be chosen randomly and notified by email within 7 days of the closing date. The winner will have a further 7 days to confirm acceptance of the prize.
If the winner fails to or is unable for any reason to accept the prize or cannot be contacted, SpareRoom reserves the right to award the prize to another entrant drawn at random.
The rent amount is calculated using our Rental Index. The average rent for a double room in your post town according to our most recent Rental Index will be used to calculate your prize money
Proof of residence will be required to collect the prize
The winner and guest may be required and therefore consents to taking part in some publicity for SpareRoom as required. At the very least a name and photo will be required for promotion on SpareRoom and/or the competition emails.
SpareRoom reserves the right to vary, amend or withdraw the competitions on reasonable notice.
