Today at Tesco Emachines d620 laptop £199

Yesterday and today only, eMachines D620 laptop reduced to £199. Not greatest spec but for web and office it is fine. 1GB ram upgradeable, 160GB hard disk, 14.1 screen.... full details on tesco website [http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.205-5712.aspx
This was in Inverness, not sure if national as website still has it for £279

    I've been looking at these for a while. The processor was AMD first attempt at an Intel Atom rival, now replaced by the Neo. It's not particularly powerful - better than the Atom and a bit like the early Pentium M and Celeron M processors. The other thing is that it says it has 3 usb ports on the box when it only has 2. The processor can be upgraded. Good for £199 but needs extra RAM. I'm off to check as I've got other shopping to get.
